The new generation of Mercurius

Dokapi Public is the new central digital mailroom for the Belgian public sector. Operating as a secure routing hub and electronic post office, it seamlessly receives e-invoices from suppliers and delivers them to the correct federal, regional, and local authorities and vice versa.

The Dokapi Public solution was officially awarded the SPF BOSA (M1189 eDelivery Perceel 1, post 2) public service contract, making it the trusted successor to the legacy Mercurius portal.
To ensure uninterrupted service, all users need to migrate before the old Mercurius portal is permanently decommissioned in December 2026.

The Peppol network

Suppliers send structured e-invoices securely through a Peppol Access Point. No email, no paper.

The mailroom

Dokapi Public receives and verifies each invoice, then routes it to the exact government department being billed.

The web portal

Suppliers without e-invoicing software can log in to submit invoices and track delivery and processing.

THE TRANSITION

Mercurius stops after December 2026. DOKAPI PUBLIC is its successor
