the Netherands ESSENTIALS

Peppol ID schemes: KVK (0106), VAT (9944) and OIN (0190)

In the Netherlands, companies register on the Peppol network using their KVK number (Chamber of Commerce) under scheme 0106, or their VAT number under scheme 9944. Government entities use the OIN (Organisation Identification Number) under scheme 0190.
Dokapi registers and manages the relevant identifiers on your behalf so trading partners and government entities can always find you on the network.

NLCIUS and Peppol BIS Billing 3.0

The Netherlands uses two mandatory formats. NLCIUS, implemented as SI-UBL 2.0, is the Dutch-specific standard for government transactions. Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 applies to broader Peppol exchange.
Dokapi supports both natively, ensuring full compatibility with Dutch public sector requirements and European trading partners.

B2B Mandate on the Horizon
